LakeStream BI was founded in 2024 by veterans of the asset management industry with extensive experience across both large and boutique firms in Switzerland and internationally.

The firm is built on a belief in leveraging technology to optimize decision-making and operational workflows across the full investment lifecycle. LakeStream BI provides intelligent, front-to-back solutions for investment managers, family offices, and private banks - tailored to streamline operations, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency.

As buy-side practitioners, LakeStream BI supports clients in the integration and management of front-to-back operations, implementation and optimization of portfolio management systems, oversight of interfaces and data feeds, and the development of consolidated reporting and portfolio analytics frameworks.

30+ years’ experience in finance and the fund management industry, holding senior and executive roles in research and portfolio management across a wide range of asset classes and investment strategies (liquid & illiquid, traditional & alternative), including a decade in the consulting and fintech sector.

Ioan Soare

Managing Partner

15+ years' experience in consulting, banking and fund management industries, with a multi-disciplinary background in law, accounting and investment management. Held senior and executive roles with a focus on multi-asset operational efficiency, structuring and regulatory compliance, including over 5 years in board roles within the technology industry.
